This Spanish school in Benalmádena is located in a very central but quiet area. The beach, the local train station and all important places are within walking distance. The school occupies the top floor of a modern building with a classic Andalusian flair. It offers a youthful and international atmosphere.

The school facilities include 20 bright and spacious classrooms, all equipped with audio-visual technology. There is a library with a wide range of material available to the students and a 25-seat cinema room for showing movies in Spanish, lectures and seminars. There also is a 400 m²  terrace with buffet and cafeteria service. Free WIFI connection is available throughout the school.

All the teachers are native speakers and are highly qualified at the best universities in Andalusia. They frequently participate in teaching courses and congresses related to ELE, by the Instituto Cervantes and other organisations. The vast majority of the teachers are also official DELE examiners.

    In order to place the students in the correct level, all participants should take an online test prior their arrival. Should this not be possible, the student will have to take a test on the first day, before entering the class.

    Every session (hour) in the group courses lasts 55 minutes.

    A private class lasts 60 minutes.

    In case the number of participants in a class is less than 3 students, they will have 2 hours semi-private tuition (instead of 4 sessions)

    At the end of each unit, you will make an evaluation test.

    At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate and a report.

    For reservations made less then 5 days before the start of the course please ask us for availability.

    The school is provided with internal quality control procedures. Every student fills out an evaluation questionnaire at the end of the course.

    Refunds, partial refunds or compensation of any kind will not be given for Public Holidays, for days missed during the course, for late arrival or early departure, days missed due to adverse weather conditions, acts of governments, interruption of electrical power, fire, floods, war, other natural disasters, disease outbreaks or other Acts of Gods.

    During peak times classes may be held at additional premises and may run at different times.

    If a student wishes to return to their home country or take holidays elsewhere during the term of their English Language Programme they are free to do so, but no credit will be given for missed study time.

    In the event that students are unable to attend lessons due to illness, these sick days will not be added to the end of the course period.

    Students will only be excused from class in case of illness or to attend their appointment at the immigration office. No other reasons will be taken into consideration and the student will be marked as absent. Under no circumstances the student will obtain credit or a refund for missed study time.

    Study Sapanish at Maravillas

    Maravillas has been a leading Spanish language school on the Costa del Sol for over 40 years. It is accredited by the Cervantes Institute and it is an official examination centre for the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) and CCSE (Prueba de Conocimientos Constitucionales y Socioculturales de España) tests.

    The facilities of this Spanish school in Benalmádena are located in a modern building, but with a classic Andalusian feel, with 20 spacious and bright classrooms, all equipped with audiovisual technology, a library a 25-seat cinema room and a 400 m² terrace with buffet and cafeteria service. There are also offices and common areas. Free WIFI connection is available to students throughout the school.

    School and courses

    The school is located in a very central but quiet area. The beach, the suburban train station and all important places are within walking distance. The school occupies the top floor of a modern building with a classic Andalusian flair.
    Courses are offered throughout the year and most of our courses start on any Monday of the year (except absolute beginners). Some special courses start on the first Monday of each month. Exam preparation courses have start dates which may vary depending on the date of the exam.
    There are no refunds or make-ups for days missed during the course, or for late arrival or early departure, or for public holidays.
    Hay grupos para todos los niveles. Para ubicar a los estudiantes en el nivel correcto, todos los participantes deben realizar una prueba en línea antes de su llegada. De no ser posible, el alumno deberá realizar una prueba el primer día, antes de entrar en clase.

    Accommodation

    En caso de que el alumno padezca algún tipo de alergia o enfermedad, deberá comunicárnoslo en el momento de la reserva. Las dietas especiales tienen un coste extra.
    The school offers two types of accommodation: shared flat and host family.
    In the case of host families they are a 20 minute walk from the school. For the shared flats, the school owns 3 flats next to the premises, in the city centre, and only a 15/20 minute walk to the beach.
    The school offers a transfer service by private car from Malaga airport to Benalmadena at an additional cost.
